8.35 Arrive at church, unlock for Matt

8.37 Realise that we have no big church sound man

8.50 Everything set up, ready for sound check. Go team Chez & Matt!

8.59 Sound check Mark, Cheryl, Donna, pulpit mic

9.02 "Hey Cheryl, who's on sound?" +C looks around+ "Me." "Can you play this during communion?" "Sure!"

9.10 "Okay guys, five minutes then we'll start practise.. i need a cup of tea"

9.20 Practise

9.25 Magz - "Hey guys.. am i on this morning?" "Oh yeah..!" "Hey Donna, it's your week off.... sorry!!!"

9.30 Practise

9.41 "So are we gonna practise the worship song?" 

9.46 Realise Mum has the cd

9.48 Mum arrives, with cd - sweet!

9.52 "Why aren't we practising?" Search for Mum, find her upstairs.

9.57 Practise 'In Christ Alone'

9.59 Realise I can't be onstage to lead the after-communion song and start cd simultaneously. Enlist Brian, who didn't realise he was on sound. Make mental note to add Brian to worship team email list.. poor guy!

10.12 Start service

10.18 Mark (mock) collapses on stage due to overly energetic song-ness

10.30 Songs end, I demolish a glass of water in .6 of a second.

10.31 Announcements begin

10.32 I confuse everyone with my announcing skills

10.38 Communion, me on sound

10.49 Worship song. All cues to fade song out are forgotten/unnoticed. Thanks Dave for being on the ball so we werent standing there forever.

Inside Out exits..

LATER (times unknown)

I stand in foyer, listening to mum's sermon through the door.

She finishes, congregation wants to sing a song.

A bit of debate/suggestion follows

She says to the sound desk "can you put on In Christ Alone again please?"

I realise I have the cd for that in my bag in the other room

I bolt to my bag & back into main church to hand over disc to Brain & Dave who are searching frantically for it.. onstage they are oblivious.

Mum sees me

"Are you going to come sing? Come sing!"

We sing the song.

Service is over.......

Crazy.

Spent the rest of the day doing not much.

HEARTS.

Opened the church for the PPS boys.

Spent a few hours sitting in the sun & stuffing my face and grandma & grandpas!

Went with Phil to pick up Amy & Carl

Ate more. Mmm.. cabana, cheese, crackers, cupcakes, (today's post is brought to you by the letter C) tim tams, chips.. ahhhh i love food.

Ta Theresa for the roast - it was great!

Got a ticket from the station for the next morning.

Sat at home on my computer.

Picked up iPod from Matt's house, got sprayed with fancy french water.. haha

Home again. 

Did nothing.

Set alarm for 6am.

Slept, eventually.

I HAVE WORK IN THE MORNING.

I'm not actually that nervous about the actual job, it's just the huge change of routine i'm really not looking forward to.
