W&EA

Whinge.

I'm sick of being tired all the time.
I've been waking up nauseous, it's like i'm freaking pregnant.
I cancel plans all over the shop because my body can't handle it.
Where's the line between being sensible and not becoming a hermit?

Eighties Assault

So, at the Vic Markets on Saturday and I saw these three girls, no more than 15 years old.
Their outfits made my jaw drop - literally.
I probably looked like a halfwit, standing on the kerb with a painting and my mouth wide open.
Anyway.
Outfits.
Girl #1 - Brown hair worn loose, long & wavy. Black fitted tshirt that sat at her hips which then led to a pair of leggings that border on indescribable. Bluey-purple base with like, yellow squares, pink zig zags, light blue splotches - the kind you wore when you were 7. The kind of pattern your little brother wore at like, 4 years old. They were hideous!
They were paired with white bobby socks and high tops.
Girl #2 - On a scooter, which was hilarious in itself. Blonde, with a half ponytail & a huge fez scrunchie in some evil pink colour. Wearing nike style kicks, knee high socks with the stripes at the top, tight bike shorts in some gross fluro colour, and a huge oversized white hoodie with no patterns or logos.
Girl #3 - I can't actually remember what this chick was wearing, but the fact that she was with these other two is enough!!

I don't even know what it was about this that freaked me out.
Maybe because these girls were clearly not old enough to realise they looked like extras from a Cindy Lauper video.
I've never seen such a plain example of fashions coming back around.....

THE EIGHTIES ARE RETURNING. WATCH YOUR BACKS! (and your wardrobes.)

Breathing.

Are you feeling tired, or weak?
Do you feel light headed?
Are you getting dizzy spells?
If you are experiencing one, or all of these symptoms, it may be because you're not
breathing

Breathing is a safe and effective way of fightingdeath and death related symptoms
Most doctors agree that
breathing is an excellent way to stay alive

Did you know that organisms
breathe to avoid death by asphyxiation?
And if it wasn't for
breathing, the Beatles wouldn't exist

So what are you waiting for?
It's safe, affordable and great for your sex life!

So start
breathing today! Or else, start dying.

If you've been stabbed, shot, or diagnosed with a terminal illness, breathing may not help prolong your life. Results may vary.

Metlink Loves Me

Soooo today, METLINK GAVE ME FREE MONEY.

How, I hear you ask? Well.

The ticket machine thingy at the station BROKE!

As in, the chick before me pressed her buttons and whatever, then the machine proceeded to spit out it's entire coin reserve!
It was like a freaking metal waterfall!! It blocked up the chute thing..

I thought she had just been an idiot and put in like, a 50 or something (forgetting that the machines don't give more than ten bucks in change.....) anyway, i started helping her get it out then she goes to me.. "this isn't mine.."

I was like.. "oh.. really?"

We kind of looked at each other, each of us holding a handful of gold coins.

We looked back at the machine..

Then slowly backed away....

hahahaha.

It was hilarious.

I got like, twenty bucks out of it.

And i TRIED to call Metlink to tell them but they had me on hold for AGES.

So, ner.

Yeah.

Fresh Start

So I can drive again.

It's pretty awesome.

It was fairly uneventful, the whole day of suspension lifting-ness.

Ros cooked this AMAZING dinner and i ate it, then we chatted, then i drove home.

It felt gooooooood.

My car's so old.

I love it.

I think i'll still post here occasionally, it might be nice.

Yeah.

I'M SO EXCITED.

I've been counting the days, obviously, but it's SO CLOSE now that I can almost taste it. THURSDAY!!!!!

I'll definitely try and blog a little still but this week has been full on.. working full time means i don't live on the internet any more, in fact quite the opposite. So hopefully the returning of my license will mean more sporadic but generally more interesting posts.

So now it's bedtime because i'm an old working lady who needs rest.

Hope this post didn't put anyone to sleep.
