Day 85

Lately i'm finding that Fridays aren't generally awesome days.

You're at work/uni/school and just hanging out for the weekend, but there's a whole day in the way of that. Uncool.

Today was pretty ordinary except for the afternoon and evening - they were surprising and fun respectively.

I met a lovely English boy on the street during my daily travels.. yes, on the street but not in a dodgy way.. we spoke for quite a while.. It was nice.....................

I try not to write too much about that kind of thing on here, (not specifics at least) but it was a pretty awesome conversation, made for a somewhat movie-moment kind of afternoon.. numbers were given & hopefully i'll be seeing him again next week :D

Went straight to the hood, aka Glen Waverly - managed to be talking to Mambo on the phone and run into her on the train?! SKILLS.

Walked in my super-heels to Gaz's place & we headed off to TRSUFM Team Weekend.

Good drive, got through the new Metallica album & a bit of the Living End <3

Got there just a bit past 8.. & so it begins!!

Day 84

Today was ace.

Had our non-formal end of year shenanigans for uni, and it was simply amaaaazing.

Brilliant weather for most of it. Great entertainment when it started to rain..!

Singalongs with Dan. Drinks with Donna & Derek. 

Speeches, gifts, food, laughs, pool. 

Two venues, millions of photos, countless memories!

ODD BITS & PIECES

1. There were like, 4 umbrellas underneath the seats on the train today.. 

all these people are forgetting their umbrellas!! 

Someone should start a lost umbrella foundation!! DO IT!

2. Went to what is going to be my new house.. :) Picked a room.. showed my parents where it is and stuff..!

So exciting. && the station is only 2 STOPS FROM THE CITY!!!! 2 STOPS!!!!!! CRAZY!!!!!!! I'm really excited about that whole public transport easier thing. Yep.

3. I want to start a Jared Leto fan club.

It's the eyes.... it really is.

Even in black and white.

&& that body.. +drools+

Going to team weekend for beach mission tomorrow, away til sunday, so there should be a nice combined post coming everyone's way early next week. && photos. I need to put more photos up. Yep.

Day 82

TUESDAY - FOR THE LAST TIME.

Had my last class at uni today.

Not that we did much.. haha.

It was kind of sad though.. i'm gonna miss it!

&& it figures, as of next month, foxFM are gona be broadcasting from the new Clarendon Centre. 

BLAH. 

I COULD HAVE HAD LUNCH WITH HAMISH AND ANDY!

Anyway.

Here are some of the things i did for the last time today..

- caught the 8.08 with Matt

- walked past the market while the fruit people were setting up

- got a paper from 7/11 on the corner & waved at the cafe man next door

- had to walk around the whole building to get in the classroom coz the middle room had started.

- jumped down all the stairs in the York St building

- tripped up the stairs in the Hotham St building

- checked out that cute guy on the #96 tram

- sat on the table and chatted to myself/Glenn/Donna/whoever else was there early

- caught the #96 back to the station

- got blinded --- "sunnies, THEN door" ---- i still forget!

- fell asleep on the floor of the classroom

- ate lunch with the 1st years at Nandos

Day 81

Work went super fast today.

Had dinner with Jess & Charm which was fun.

Not much else of consequence.

I keep thinking of all this stuff during the day that I want to write in here, but I forget it.

It's really annoying.

&& my posts are really boring because of it.

Grrrr.

So, Pink is apparently set to announce another show, her 11th. Kings of Leon are doing a 3rd show. Bloc Party did 2. 

Am i a snob because I wouldn't wanna go to any one but the first one?!

Something about going to the 10th show or the 3rd show just doesn't sound as impressive haha.

so yeah.

It's weird because noone listens... I mean, sometimes you can understand because people are squished like sardines and they're being asked to stand clear of the doorways..!! but then there are other times when the voice is telling you to move down the carriage.. and i'm sitting there looking at the people blocking the aisles so noone can pass them.. and there are a good few metres of space in front of them.. it's so rude. People complain about packed trains and stuff like that, but it's not like everyone's pitching in to make it more enjoyable.

Pretty sure Pete Wentz is whipped.. why else would you let your wife give your baby a middle name like MOWGLI?!

Forgot to mention that the Jack White/Alicia Keys Bond theme song was one of the major highlights of the new Bond movie... LOVED IT.. Her voice sounds a little thin in places but I can look over that to the brilliance of it's whole.. :) i really really really like ittttt.

SATURDAY

Got up early-ish.. worked at Lynbrook Village as an elf for four hours - it was fun! Kudos to Kim for being great to work with :) Sooooo tired after it all though.. ahh!

Was only home for about 20 minutes before Dad took me to Krista & Andrew's wedding - it was at the Police Academy Chapel in Glen Waverly.. i swear I want to get married there now.. so beautiful! The wedding was small and lovely.

It was really nice to see Lyndy as well - as a brunette! she was gorgeous in a floor length green dress.. & Krista's train had all this pretty beading on it, and she wore a veil in the back of her hair instead of over her face - it looked prettyyyyyyy!!

so tired. it's like life doesn't want to let you breathe.

You know when you get into something by accident? You can't believe it's happening to you.. every moment is just sooooo special. It's amazing to start with, and you start to hope....... but then it starts to go bad. Just a little. And while you know exactly what's gonna happen - because you're watching it unfold in front of you - you stay? You still hope. 

You know when you want to believe in someone? When you want them to be who you know they can be, Instead of the person they're known to be.. do you know that feeling? When you realise that they have you in a corner, and you really should jump ship, because you'll end up looking the fool? But you don't?

Then when when it ends, you're devastated. You feel betrayed.. and you ask why.

and inside, you're beating yourself up over your own stupidity?

Day 78

FRIDAY

Left home : 6.42am

Got home : 1.13am

I am an idiot.

Work was alright, the morning went super fast, i was making heaps of phone calls & then it was midday.. what the?

So of course the afternoon dragged like crazy.

Had a change of shoes :) because I went straight to Chaddy.. Charm was working til 9 so i hung around/shopped for a few hours then myself, Charm, Tess & Dean went and saw QoS!

It moved so quick that it took me half the movie to understand it!!! But I think I got the general gist of what was going on.

oh ok, so the story here is that i've been looking for new jeans for MONTHS.. i got my current ones from westco & i love them, but for some reason NOONE has any size 8/10's.. wth?! Found some that are pretty much identical :P @ $59.95, bargain.. the girl is like, "oh you can get a free tshirt... when you spend 60 bucks." i thought she was joking, but no, i wasn't eligible unless I paid another 5c.. WHAT THE HELL, MAN. So I bought a ten buck tank top and then got a free shirt for my brother because the chick ones were metro and terrifying.

Oh & I knew the other girl working there, we went to primary school together. Weird. She was snobby when I said hi, but she was the one looking all grumpy and working at Westco.. so don't raise your nose at me, lady.

THURSDAY... (I THINK)

Stayed up way too late last night working on that assignment.

Consequently, today has just been a big, tired blur.

I feel alright, just... blurry.

Had uni, came home, did.. nothing? I think.

Unlocked for the PPS boys, went to dinner, locked up for the boys, went to BED.

Today was another decent work day.

I think adjusting is good.

Also, i wore flat shoes.

They looked fine but I felt a bit weird.

I covered more ground on my walkabouts, but my feet were still sore at the end of the day.

i really need to buy new shoes.

Good ones.

My jeans are getting beyond ridiculous as well.. giant holes right near my crotch :/ 

hmmmm.

I have my last assignment from Donna due in tomorrow.

Did most of it last night, but just have to get it all finished tonight.

Shouldn't be too hard?!

I hope. 

Kinda stressing massively about the Darren assignments though.

BUT.. Donna assignment first.

Saw some sweet graffiti today, up the end of.. maybe Queen St? I forget.

I'm pretty sure it was in a place called Finlay Alley. Not 100% though.

Point of the story was, it was cool.
