Day 9

RECAP & WHINGE:

Peace & love to Joel for being awesome & coming to Gyro with me last night.

They were amazing & i had the BEST time. Also, sif if i wasn't gonna pay for petrol :)

The night was kinda wrecked a little by a trend that seems to be developing..

Namely, that noone seems to be able to text me back..!?

I messaged a few people about the party i was supposed to go to after, a party i was really looking forward to, and got no reply. So i didn't go! +shrugs+ I'm bummed, coz i missed out on seeing a friend for her birthday, but i can't mind read, you know?!

Maybe they all secretly hate me.

Maybe everyone secretly hates me and dislikes my company.

I have a few friends that are like that and to be honest, i'm kind of over it.

I don't expect to be the number one priority on people's lists, but some common courtesy is always nice. 

So for the record..

If you really are my friend, damn well text me back.

okay, rant over.

So, Gyro were AMAZING. 

They played Slow Dance, which was possibly the most intense thing ever, i love that song!!! Safe Forever went off, as it does. They also played Take This For Granted, which was a surprise but still awesome. Hello, Sound Shattering Sound.

Some annoying girls were front row, in front of me, and they didn't know any of the old songs, and they didnt really get into it which made it really hard to get into it myself coz they were just like stones.. grah. Some people! :P at least leave the front row for fans that really give a stuff, yes?

More kudos to Joel for refusing to leave me at a train station & trekking out to the 'old country' to drop me home. I would have been fine, but thank you :) it was nice not to have to do it! :)

ON THE PUBLIC TRANSPORT FRONT.. 

I totalled 3.25 hours on PT yesterday.. 2 hours on the train to and from uni, 10 minutes tramming, 5 min on the train to Dande, and an hour on the bus to Ringwood.

Wait.. is that 3.25? Whatever. There's the breakdown for ya.

Stud Road was hell, even with a bus lane. It took 30 minutes! When i usually travel it in 15 minutes! I was actually grinding my teeth.. sitting on the bus.. yep.

I also had to use my Keypass for ID for the first time and it was super embarassing.. I felt like a loser.. my picture is awful as well. GROSSSSS. Why do passport photos of any kind always make you look like a criminal? This particular shot is extremely over-exposed, i look dead.

No, really.

Did I blog that I walked home from the train station yesterday? I think i'm getting fitter, because the hill wasn't as bad as i remember. Maybe it's just the absence of the 3kg laptop that helped.

PRESENT DAY:

Today was really loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong.

I got up at 8.3o, coz i had to work at 9.30.. i actually didnt get out of bed until about 9 but.. details.

Opened the store, first time doing it & it was easy as pie.. a breeze.

Sweet.

Day was super quiet, practically no customers, boring.

Finished, then went to a housewarming (got dropped off by my little brother - weird but cool) but left pretty quickly coz Dad & Mum picked me up & from there we went to Geoff's birthday bash.. Then Mambo came over & got me, we hung out, she went home & now i'm typing this before i go to bed.

INJURIES SUSTAINED:

Top of Foot - lost about a 5c coin's worth of skin, accompanied by a nice round bruise from one of the young girls in front of me who was wearing stilettos in the pit.... ?!!!??!

Hips - bruises from walking into the side of the counter at work twice.. i'm blaming tiredness!

Eyes - stinging from being awake for way too long.

Soles of Feet - super sore, bad shoes, walking relatively long distances in them.. being stepped on in the pit, being on them at work all day.

Scalp - canes from having bobby pins stuck in it 24/7

Oh &&&&& i haven't washed my hair for something like 9 days. 

It's fantastic. 

I take it out, shake it out and it pretty much stands on end.. it's seriously amazing, i love it! 

It doesn't look that bad either, and its only JUST starting to feel gross.. 

i think i'm gonna push this. 

My head hurts, it's crying out for a scalp massage or something, but its sooo fun & i like the look.
