Got up too late this morning to walk to work.. was going to try and make it in ten minutes, but that collapsed, had to get a lift. But I got Dad to drop me off at the roundabout so i walked for a whole 500m.. it's the thought that counts, right? :P The sun was just glorious.. hello, spring!
Getting home was nice and easy, my brother works in the same centre as me so i just caught a lift home when he got dropped off.. Hope everything stays that convenient for the next 6 months!
Have an engagement party tonight, going to have to get dropped there by the lovely parents, then find my way home.. looking forward to a good night! I have a new outfit :) exciting.
Car-related highs and lows from today:
-Saw an old workmate who is off to buy her first car.. a Mitsubishi Verada, almost identical to my first car.. glad for her, depressing for me.. i used to drive her home heaps.
- Received a lovely call from the wife of the friend who has my car, apparently he's loving it :)
i'm glad someone else is appreciating my dear old Duke.
- Got a sweet message from a friend, offering to taxi me wherever i need to go.. :) i have great mates.
My feet are totally sore. Stupid work.
