Day 26

TODAY'S TRAIN ADVENTURES.

Today I decided I felt like shopping.
Yes, this is related to my train adventure - before you ask.
So I bought a sweet as little skirt at Inzagi.
Then when my train was 20 minutes away I hit Southern Cross DFO's in search of a dress & some shoes. As you do, I got distracted & had to run to make my train. Saw it heading toward the platform, so I glanced up at the screen & saw a long word and "NOW" starting to show.
Shoved my ticket through the barriers, bolted down the stairs & jumped on, feeling quite proud of myself.

20 minutes later I look out the window and go, "McKinnon? Is that a station? Where am I?"
I had jumped on the Frankston line. & it took me forever to notice.

DERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

So had to get off in the middle of nowhere (Paterson) and wait 11 minutes for a train back toward the city. Got off at Caulfield, there were 3 minutes until the 2.48 Pakenham so i caught that back to Hallam..

I had a doctors appointment at 3.3o so i didn't think i was going to make it, but I got into the station at 3.2o :) awesome.

Got a ride home from Daniel P (Y) thanks heaps!

THEN IT WAS TIME FOR THE DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT.. +SHUDDERS+

Basically I was told that I have hayfever/allegies, a bad diet and an unhealthy lifestyle, and that's what's causing most of my maladies. Although i may have a non dangerous disorder that has something to do with my body not absorbing B vitamins. Interesting. I have to go get blood tests, just in case.. GROSS.
Plus, I'm having my sugar levels tested so i have to fast for 12 hours.. i can only have water :(
sucks bad! THEN, the cheeky woman mentioned the cervical cancer vaccination, which i just haven't gone and got because I hate needles.. (I never used to, but the tetanus shot ruined it all for me. Freaking painful!)
She gave me the spiel & then was like, you only have another six to eight months before it stops being free, perfect age for it, blah blah, no side effects, something something................... i must have nodded at the wrong time because i ended up getting the first shot, and then i apparently went quite pale & I had to lie down coz i was seeing stars.. I'm such a wuss. And I have to go BACK for another two! Grrrrrrrr. Sucked in, I tell you.

RETAIL THERAPY.

i really really really really really really really really (REALLY) want these shoes.
i thought about it all winter.
