Day 91

PRE-GRADUATION

Location : DFO's Moorabbin

Purchases : Bag, bracelets, pants for mum, rings, dress, worst wedges ever, soft drink.

Highlights : Review dress, marked at $50 down from $279.95 because a clip on flower was missing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lowlights : The wedges we bought for lunch were THE most feral things I'd ever eaten.

GRADUATION

Location : Quat Quatta House, RIpponlea 

Attendees : Graduating students of advertising & photography 2008, IDS/ICPP staff + family & friends

Highlights : Great food, good vibes, wearing a sweet as dress, free drinks, fun people, everyone looking all spiffy, making Donna cry, dancing with JXC, getting professional photos taken with everyone and anyone, bathrooms with crystal tap handles, giving Donna her gift after the formalities were over, James nearly burning his diploma on the table candles 5 minutes after getting it, mambo + our speech + cameras, sitting next to Lou, meeting people's significant others & family members. oh.. and graduating was pretty sweet too.

Lowlights : A million speeches saying the same thing, knowing it was the last time we'd ever see some of these people, the loser who yelled out mean things to one of the girls from the photography class (i hope you felt bad afterwards) dessert not including any type of chocolate (what was THAT?!) 

POST-GRADUATION

Location : Electric Ladyland in Prahran & Next, King St

Attendees : Graduating students of advertising & photography 2008, randoms who were already there, SOOZ! + IDS/ICPP staff, Scott, Paul, Cam.

Highlights : Great venue, good vibes, shouting people drinks, chatting with Chris and finding out he's mostly what I though and then a little more normal - haha, talking to/drinking with Glenn, hugging Janis - haha! "Awwwww our first (and probably the last) hug in two years!! Let's hug again! Awwwww" Being silly, the sweet bathrooms, people buying me drinks, chatting to randoms at the bar, wearing some dudes hat, properly meeting people's other halves etc, feeling on top of the world, non creepy-style friendly taxi drivers, "two weeks is a really long time!" - haha.. asking Cam's permission, finding out i'm not on my own.

Lowlights : Drinking a bit more than I normally do and acting a bit dumb, hurting a friend, being super insanely tired.. oh and - RED.. +hides+
