Day 156

So my first day in the house was pretty fun.

Even though it was RIDICULOUSLY HOT.

Let's do numbered events and stuff.

1. There were fires everywhere, there was apparently one near Mum & Dad's - I called them to make sure they were okay but they had no idea what I was talking about so I assume the danger wasn't too great!

2. Phil & Kate were over.. & Neil.. we spent the best part of the day on the internet, on the Bureau of Meteorology site. They have this live temperature graph, and Phil was sitting there cheering it on. For some crazy reason he wanted it to get to 50 degrees!? The heat was made worse by the wind - gale force and HOT!

3. At about lunchtime someone mentioned pizza, so we went and got some.. +shrugs+ Because, you know.. hot pizza has always been my choice of food on 46 degree days. It was great pizza though.

4. Back to the online temperature thing though.. when the cool change came through, it was like.. WOW.. the graph line dropped ten degrees in something like, 15 minutes.

I have never been that excited about the weather before.

5. In the PM it was time for Scripture Union Summer Celebration! WOOP!

There were about 3 cars of us going in from the house & it was so good to see a percentage of the team there :) we (as in, Tidal River SUFM) cleaned up the photo comp, taking first AND second prize!

6. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ESTO! Had the best fun meeting up with him in the city, a group of us went dancing. I met a couple of NZ girls who bought me a shot <3>
